PM Session: 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm

2 days (Tues/Thurs)
3 days (Mon/Weds/Fri)
5 days (Mon thru Fri)
Teacher/student ratio is 10:1
All children must be potty trained
Progress reports and parent/teacher conferences twice a year
A DAY IN OUR PRESCHOOL….
Circle time, Intro to weekly theme, calendar, days of the week, months of the year, weather, songs, finger plays, snack time, cooking, structured theme related activity, gym time, story time
CURRICULUM

Number recognition, counting, colors, shapes, number writing and measurement
· Science
Weather, magnets, microscopes, magnifying glasses, lifecycles, gardening
· Language Arts
Pre-writing
· Social Studies
Cultural and ethnic awareness activities, continents, United States, holidays, community helpers
· Music & Movement
Songs, finger plays, gross motor activities
· Art
Different themed art projects, fine motor skill activities (ie: scissor cutting)
· Maintenance of class’ outdoor garden
