Our Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants are New Jersey licensed and members of the American Physical Therapy Association. We stay on the cutting edge through ongoing training and continuing education courses. We consult with other medical professional to ensure an effective course of treatment. Personalized Care

At PT/SR we don't believe in "the 5 minute therapist." We take the time to listen to your concerns, evaluate your strength, flexibility, and movement patterns, to design a unique program for you. We provide reports to your physician on a regular basis. We believe in preventing injuries through education and safe exercise techniques.

Your Visits with us

During the initial evaluation, which lasts for approximately one hour, the physical therapist will take a 'subjective' history in which questions are asked of the patient to find out how the patient is feeling e.g. levels of pain or disability, and when / how the problem started.
Your therapist will gather 'objective' data, which may consist of joint range of motion, strength testing, quality of movement and other baseline measurements.. The initial evaluation also consists of soft tissue evaluation performed by the therapist to determine painful structures.
Based on your unique evaluation, your therapist will design and instruct you in specific home exercises and /or flexibility program.
We believe in a positive approach to your care and we strive to make your experience as unique as possible.
During the course of your Physical Therapy, your therapist will modify and progress your exercises to avoid compensatory patterns and promote proper muscle balance. We listen to your feedback, and observe and guide your walking and movements as needed.
You will work with licensed Physical Therapists and licensed Physical Therapy Assistants who will guide you and answer your questions.

WorkSTEPS OF WOODBRIDGE

In addition to great rehabilitation services, Physical Therapy Sports rehab is a licensed provider of the WorkSteps Employment Testing Program. WorkSteps is a national company that is supplying employers with the tools they need to reduce work injuries and WORK INJURY COSTS! The WorkSTEPS testing system helps determine and maintain a SAFE and CAPABLE WORK FORCE, from hire to retire.

In addition, WorkSTEPS Functional capacity Evaluation testing is an excellent complement to PTSR's highly regarded rehabilitation services. We offer the most comprehensive treatment and dynamic return-to-work programs in the state and are recognized for our safe return to work success.

Our courteous, on-site billing staff is here to assist you. We accept the majority of Medical, Workman’s Compensation, and Motor Vehicle Insurance. Please call us for benefit verification.

Direct Access to Physical Therapists

Physical Therapists in New Jersey may evaluate and manage musculoskeleta injuries without a doctor referral since February 13, 2003 at the client’s cost. Your therapist may refer you to the appropriate doctor when indicated. Medicare, Car Insurance, and most Major Medical Insurance Payers require a doctor referral
